OBJECTIVES

TEACHER´S

 

Will provide third grade students with the opportunity to learn new vocabulary about the food pyramid by using different tools such as flash cards, online and jclic activities

 

STUDENT´S

 

Will learn new vocabulary about the food pyramid by using different interactive tools(orally, listenig, speacking, writing).

 

FIRST SESSION

 

ACTIVITY 1:       TIMING: 10 MINUTES   MATERIALS AND RESOURCES: COMPUTER

 

The class will begin with a short introduction of the student- teacher:

ACTIVITY 2:    TIMING: 25 MINUTES    MATERIALS AND RESOURCES: COMPUTER

 

Se harán unas preguntas a los niños para conocer los saberes previos que tiene con respecto al tema de la  piramide alimenticia.

 

Do you like favorite food?

Yes, I do pasta. No, I don´t spinach.

How many levels have the food pyramid?

Do you know that we can classify foods?

Anybody knows how?

 

Después se dará inicio a la actividad en la cual va a tratar del segundo nivel  de la pirámide la cual está conformada por las frutas y las verduras, mediante la siguiente canción .

 

Eat some fruit, fruit, fruit.. Si good for you, you, you.

Eat a piece of fruit, fruit, fruit.. Eat  a few!

 

Make cookies out of an apple or a pear.

Peel an orange. Then you can share.

Eat your grapes one by one.

Eating fruit can be so fun!!!!

ACTIVITY 3:  TIMING: 15 MINUTES  MATERIALS AND RESOURCES: PAPER, PENCIL, ERASE, FLASHCARE

 

Se les mostraran la imagen de la pirámide alimenticia para que sepan el nivel que se va  a trabajar el cual es segundo de la pirámide, y que alimentos que lo conforman que son las frutas y verduras.

la actividad consiste en que los niños dibujen la fruta o la verdura que más  les guste, y si saben su respectivo nombre en ingles que lo escriban.

Cuando cada niño termine se observara los dibujos y se les hará escuhar la pronunciación de cada uno de estos alimentos y que ellos lo repitan para que sepan su correcta pronunción. En la escucha estarán otras frutas y verduras  para que los niños las identifiquen.

 

 

ACTIVITY 4:  TIMING: 15 MINUTES  MATERIALS AND RESOURCES: CLASSROOM

 

The following activity is that children do a poster or collage and writing the new vocabulary that listen to and learn.

para hacer esta actividad más dinámica se hará un juego el ahorcado, con las frutas y verduras que los niños no hallan logrado identificar en el ejercicio de escuchar y se les dará una pista al hacer una adivinanza.

ACTIVITY 5:  TIMING: 10 MINUTES   MATERIALS AND RESOURCES:

 

The homework that the children make in a chart with the square of breakfast, lunch and dinner draw the food that consume each day.
